WATERPROOF DEVICE FOR SIM CARD MOUNTING GROOVE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A waterproof device for a SIM(Subscriber Identity Module) card mounting groove in a mobile communication terminal is provided to prevent that a SIM card mounted in the SIM card mounting groove is damaged by moisture by covering an upper side portion of the SIM card mounting groove by a cover. CONSTITUTION: A connection groove(104) is formed in a uniform interval in an external circumference of a SIM card mounting groove(102) formed in a rear surface of a terminal case(100). A plurality of connection holes(105) are formed at one side of the connection groove(104) in a uniform interval. A cover(110) covers the SIM card mounting groove(102) and a part of the rear surface adjacent with the SIM card mounting groove(102). The cover(110) has a connection asperity(107) and a fixed protrusion(109) in a lower portion of the cover(110). A front end of the connection asperity(107) is compressed and penetrated in a connection protrusion(106) and the connection holes(105). The fixed protrusion(109) presses and fixes a SIM card(103) mounted in the SIM card mounting groove(102).
