PURPOSE: A key interlock apparatus for a vehicle is provided to accurately regulate clearance of a key interlock cable by kinds of vehicles and to make an operator easily find a positioning groove inserted with a stopper in regulating the clearance of the key interlock cable by mounting a display unit for displaying kinds of vehicles to the positioning groove. CONSTITUTION: A key interlock apparatus for a vehicle is composed of a key interlock cam(52) rotatively mounted to a vehicle body and connected with a shift lever(50) to limit operations of the shift lever; an ignition lock for fixing a starting key in a turned-on state of a starting switch(62); a key interlock cable(54) for connecting the ignition lock and the key interlock cam pulled to one direction to transmit operating force; a tube(56) longitudinally arranged to outer periphery of the key interlock cable to slide; a bracket(58) combined with the tube and formed with positioning grooves(58a) at the position corresponding to clearance of the key interlock cable of plural kinds of vehicles; and a positioning stopper(60) fixed to the vehicle body and selectively inserted into one positioning groove.
