摘要 A navigation system (9) determines the position of a hip bone (3) and a femur. A data-processing device (13) uses determined position data for the hip bone and the femur to calculate the center points of a bearing shell, of a spherical articulated surface in the bearing shell and their mutual clearance. The bearing shell (BS) can be inserted into the hip bone. An artificial limb shank can be inserted into the femur to swivel on bearings with the spherical articulated surface in the bearing shell.
