摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a conventional rotary angle detector has a too long distance x' between a magnetic flux detecting area J7 and a magnet J2, because of providing a potting J6 protecting a fluctuation of magnetic flux detecting means J3 protecting from flying oil splash or metal powder. <P>SOLUTION: By adopting a constitution of rotary angle detector that a magnetic flux detecting means 52 is arranged on the other side of a board 53 facing to a magnet 51, a potting can be eliminated because the magnetic flux detecting means is protected by the board 53 from the flying oil splash or metal powder, therefore the distance x between a flux detecting area &alpha; and the magnet 51 can be shortened. By shortening the distance x, precision of detection can be improved, and also the magnetic flux intensity of the magnet 51 is not necessary so strong, therefore an inexpensive ferrite based plastic magnet can be used. Furthermore the cost can be reduced because the fluctuation of magnetic flux detecting means 52 etc., are protected by covering with an inexpensive protecting layer 55 protecting from the dew condensation or the oil instead of the expensive potting 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
