PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic route control system attempting reduction in throughput of route setting suitableness judgement by carrying out the route setting suitableness judgement concerning a selected route set by a route setting suitableness information offering device, in route setting of a train. SOLUTION: This system is furnished with: a set route candidate offering means 14 to 14 to offer the set route candidate selected by route setting assumption; a route setting suitableness judgement means 41 to constantly carry out the route setting suitableness judgement concerning the set route candidate; and a route setting demand means 22 to carry out a route setting demand in accordance with the route setting suitableness information formed by the route setting suitableness judgement means 41, site equipment state information and train diaphragm information.
