PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for solving the problems that a person feels tired when walking with an umbrella and packages and it is dangerous to ride a bicycle or the like, especially on a rainy day, by relieving the person from a troublesomeness that either of the hands must always be occupied with the umbrella whether the umbrella is opened or not. SOLUTION: A portable umbrella erecting stand unit has a fixed main shaft (1) with a neck-rest of a folding type, on which the umbrella can be mounted, and which is provided with a flat shoulder-plate (2) with a pair of shoulder bands for fastening shoulders, a flat back-plate (3) with a pair of shoulder rubber bands for fastening the back and a grip, whereby the total stand unit is tightly fixed to the user's body and the umbrella does not need to be held by either of the hand.
