A yielding road marker post carrying reflectors (not shown) comprises a triangular plastics tube 1 rockably seated on a lower tube 2 through respective caps 4, 3 interconnected by a cable 7 and spring 6. The cable 7 is looped slidably over a grooved projection 5 on the cap 3, passes through apertures in the caps, and has its free ends secured to a plate 8 engaged by the spring 6. In snow conditions the post 1-2 is removed from its below-ground concrete base 10 by withdrawing rod 11, and is replaced by a tall snow post. |
