PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comfortable lumbar support device which can be easily assembled. SOLUTION: On the middle part of a driving rod 130, a crank part 131 capable of pressing the surface on the opposite side of the surface facing a sitting person of a pair of vertical frame materials 121 of a flat mat 120 is provided. A means (the erected wall part 139 of a first bracket 133 and the erected wall part 143 of a second bracket 135) for inhibiting the movement in a horizontal direction of the driving rod 130 of the flat mat 120 is provided to inhibit the movement when the crank part 131 (the abutting part 137 of the first bracket 133 and the abutting part 141 of the second bracket 135) is brought into press contact with the vertical frame material 121 of the flat mat 120.
