<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a keratinase activity-inhibitor effectively inhibiting the keratinase activity and excellent in safety and provide a skin care preparation, a skin cleaner or a bath liquid for feet and legs capable of improving itching of the skin, sores of the skin and wetting symptoms of the skin, excellent in safety and expected to prevent infection of dermatosis or treat the dermatophytosis. <P>SOLUTION: The keratinase activity-inhibitor contains one or more species selected from the group consisting of a hop extract, a gambir extract, a Quillaja Saponaria Molina bark extract, a loquat leaf extract, a Sanguisorba officinalis root extract, a Sasa albo-marginata extract and tannic acid.
