<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lightweight apron easy to handle and incinerate, hygienic with slight fear of breeding of various germs and having a structure that joints of a neck hanging string and a wraparound string with an apron part is extremely hardly ripped open. <P>SOLUTION: This apron is obtained by sewing the neck hanging string on the upper end of the apron part and sewing the right and left wraparound strings on both the sides of the apron part respectively. Both the sides of the neck hanging string are each sewn either on the surface or the rear of the apron part, and one end of a reinforcing tape is sewn on a part corresponding to a sewn part of the opposite face and the other end of the reinforcing tape is sewn on the neck hanging string, thereby a loop-like joined part is formed. The apron part, the neck hanging string, the wraparound string and the reinforcing tape are all made of a polyolefin resin.
