PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that reaped grain culms nipped and transported by a right/a left root transportation chains of each raking transportation apparatus to a transportation end part are transferred by a root transportation apparatus, a root nipping lever, an ear tip transportation apparatus and an ear tip nipping lever and transported upward to the rear, when transferred, the transfer is badly carried out, consequently, spillage of grain culms occurs and stock arrangement is deteriorated. SOLUTION: The grain culm transportation apparatus for a combine harvester has constitution that the root sides of the reaped grain culms transported to the transportation end part by each raking transportation apparatus 4 are transferred by the root transportation apparatus 13 and the root nipping lever 13a, the ear tip sides are transferred, raked and transported upward to the rear by the ear tip transportation apparatus 14, the ear tip nipping lever 14a and a left raking transportation star wheel 7a which is mounted on a left raking, supporting apparatus 7 at the root/ear tip nipping levers 13a and 14a sides and rotated and driven by a hydraulic motor 7b. The hydraulic motor 7b is rotated by a hydraulic gearless drive device for changing the gear of the transmission mechanism of a traveling transmission case. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
