PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and an apparatus which can obtain service information on a facility suitable for a user's purpose automatically and timely. SOLUTION: In a navigation apparatus which can provide route guidance, a facility which the user often uses is registered in advance so that user can obtain service information of the facility such as discounts. The user wishes to obtain service information and designates it by a keyword when a vehicle starts to run or while it is running. Then the registered facility information and keyword information are transmitted to an external information center etc., and the apparatus receives service information on the registered facility which is searched for based on the registered facility information and keyword information.
