PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a map including a present location and a destination on a display part 60, in on-board navigation equipment. SOLUTION: When a rectilinear distance between the present location and the destination becomes shorter than a distance Kr, it is decided that a map including the present location and the destination can be displayed by changing coordinates of the present location on a display screen of the display part 60. As a result, a map display region TR3 is so set that the map including the present location and the destination can be displayed on the same display screen of the display part 60, by changing the coordinates of the present location on the display screen of the display part 60. In addition, a road map is displayed in the display part 60, on the basis of road map data in the map display region TR3, thereby enabling display of the map including the present location and the destination on the same display screen of the display part 60.
