GLASS PANEL FOR CATHODE-RAY TUBE, AND MOLDING DEVICE USED FOR ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube glass panel 1 in which reflected light can be made weak while securing good quality film-forming performance by applying an appropriate improvement on the inner surface 8 of the face part 2, and which has a high product value. SOLUTION: The center axis Z on the inner surface 8 of the face part 2 of the panel 1 and a first region 11 having its surrounding part are constructed to have a property of weakening the reflection of the light from outer surface side of the face part 2 compared with each corner 5 and a second region 12 having its surrounding part. Then the outer periphery of the first region 11 is formed along a circular arc centered in diameter direction on the center axis Z, and the surface roughness of the second region 12 is made relatively smaller than the surface roughness of the first region 11, and the second region 12 is constructed to include each rectangular region 14 of 30×30 mm to 80×80 mm at each corner.
