PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the effective utilization of a woody material by enhancing the strength of a woody molded object to extend the use of the woody molded object. SOLUTION: A fine granular woody material, a meltable melt mixing resin and a fibrous material capable of bonding the melt mixing resin in a molten state are mixed while melting the melt mixing resin to obtain a woody molded object. The melt mixing resin in the molten state strongly adheres to the woody material while penetrates thereinto and also adheres to the fibrous material. Therefore, the strength of the woody molded object is further enhanced to extend the use of the woody molded object. The woody material becomes easy to use as a lightweight aggregate or the like for achieving the weight reduction of concrete or the like and the effective utilization of the woody material is accelerated.
