摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fluctuation of a valve opening pressure of a fuel injection nozzle by the pressure fluctuation in a nozzle return pipe, and to prevent degradation of the fuel injection characteristic of a fuel injection nozzle. <P>SOLUTION: A DME fuel overflowed from a fuel injection nozzle 9 into a nozzle return pipe 7 is sucked by an electric-driven compressor 23 and returned to a fuel tank 4. The nozzle return pipe 7 is sucked by the electric-driven compressor 23 and maintained at a predetermined negative pressure state. Since the nozzle return pipe is sucked by the electric-driven compressor 23, and the pressure in the nozzle return pipe 7 is regulated to a substantially predetermined value, the pressure fluctuation in the nozzle return pipe 7 applied to the valve of the fuel injection nozzle 9 is reduced, and any possible degradation of the fuel injection characteristic of the fuel injection nozzle 9 by the pressure fluctuation in the nozzle return pipe 7 is reduced thereby. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
