PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of a binder with excellent binding capability and stability. SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion of the binder comprises an amorphous polypropylene homopolymer or an amorphous copolymer comprising propylene and a 2-8C olefin and containing propylene of≥50 mass% as the binder and a copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid and an alkyl (meth)acrylate as a dispersant for the binder.
