FLOCKING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocking method for obtaining a flocked article having a more excellent tactile impression by taking in consideration overall factors such as the size of a pile to be used, an adhesive coating material to be used, a pile spraying time, the amount of the pile to be sprayed and a pile spraying apparatus to be used. SOLUTION: The one-component coating material containing urethane emulsion is sprayed onto a base material. Within 3 minutes after the coating material is sprayed, the pile having 0.3-0.8±0.1 d fineness and 0.3-0.6±0.1 mm length is sprayed onto the coating material-sprayed surface at 30-60 g/minute from an electrostatic spray gun in which the pressure of transport air is higher than the spray pressure. A water-based coating material is used as the one-component coating material and the thickness of the coating film of the coating material formed on the surface of the base material is set to be 20-30μm. It is preferable that the pile has 106-109Ω/cm electric leakage-resistant value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
