PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrated dispersion of cuprous oxide, which has excellent long-term stability and is easily diluted to prepare a dispersion of high-purity cuprous oxide. SOLUTION: The concentrated dispersion of cuprous oxide has≥40 wt.% content of cuprous oxide fine particles having≤100 nm primary particle size, and 8.0 wt.% water content at the highest and contains an organic dispersion medium. The method for manufacturing the concentrated dispersion of cuprous oxide comprises a step (1) of dispersing soft agglomerate of cuprous oxide fine particles having≤100 nm primary particle size in the organic dispersion medium and a step (2) of concentrating the obtained dispersion by ultracentrifugal separation or UF (ultrafiltration).
