<p>An electrode comprises an elongate tube made of titanium suboxide, the tube containing an electrical conductor in the form of a coil 11 in contact with the inside wall of the tube at spaced apart locations, the coil being connected to a power source. The electrical conductor may be a valve metal, eg titanium. The electrode may be used in the treatment of fluids, eg water, to remove pollutants therefrom.</p> |
