FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with plasty of anterior abdominal wall in patients with postoperative ventral hernias. Netting made of titanium nickelide should be fixed between peritoneum and anterior layers of abdominal wall extraperitoneally along defect's perimeter for 3-5 cm along edges of peridefective tissues. One should above apply granules of porous titanium nickelide at their size being 500-2000 mcm for 20-80% area of wound surface. The method enables to prevent relapse of ventral hernia. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
