PURPOSE:To attain directly head oscillation absorbing and attenuating effects by providing an oscillating damping means where a pivot supporting a head, an oscillation damping body and a balancer are combined on required conditions. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation damping body 10 consisting of an oscillation resisting rubber or the like is stuck to a pivot 4a which is constituted on the second carriage 4 and has an elasticity by adhesion or the like and a balancer 3 is joined to the oscillation damping body 10 integrally. With respect to the thickness and the hardness of the oscillation damping body 10 stuck to the pivot 4a, values most suitable for oscillation attenuation are calculated in accordance with the elasticity of the pivot 4a and the mass of the balancer 3. If the pivot 4a, the oscillation damping body 10 and the balancer 3 are combined on required conditions, the oscillation of an upper head 6 is directly suppressed and is absorbed and attenuated.
