<p>A method for screening a candidate substance as a potential drug for the treatment of malaria is disclosed. The invention comprise adding the candidate drug to a heme-HIZP II solution which is red in colour. If the colour changes to green , said drug has anti-malarial activity. If the red colour of the solution remains unchanged, it indicates the absence of anti-malarial activity of the candidate substance.</p> |
