PURPOSE: To modify the structure of a cellulose fiber and produce a cloth having desired feeling extending from hard feeling to soft feeling by treating a cellulose fiber cloth with a solution containing an amine oxide. CONSTITUTION: A cellulose fiber cloth is immersed in a solution containing a t-amine oxide having a ring structure with <=5.15Ådiameter and a dipolar moment of >=4.5D and the coated cloth is heat-treated. The feeling of the cloth is hardened by increasing the amine oxide content in the solution and is softened by lowering the content. |
