PURPOSE: A tire tread rubber composition for cut and chip is provided, to improve blow-out characteristics, reversion characteristics and durability. CONSTITUTION: The tire tread rubber composition comprises 100 phr of a base rubber; 0.5-2.5 phr of 1,6-bis(N,N-dibenzylthiocarbamoyldithio)hexane as a hybrid curing agent. Preferably the base rubber is a natural rubber, a synthetic rubber comprising a styrene-butadiene rubber, a butyl rubber, a butadiene rubber, or a blend rubber of the natural rubber and the synthetic rubber.
