PURPOSE: A hair care composition including a photostorage material together with a hair setting polymer is provided. It permits a coated hair to emit light in a dark place and has an excellent effect of setting a hair style. CONSTITUTION: The hair care composition contains 1 to 10% by weight of photostorage material and additionally 1 to 20% by weight of hair setting polymer. The photostorage material is one or two or more selected from aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, strontium oxide, europium oxide and boron oxide. The hair setting polymer is one or two or more selected from polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinylpyrrolidone/vinylacetate copolymers, vinylacetate/crotonic acid/vinyl neodecanoate terpolymers, octylacrylamideacrylate/butylaminoethylmethacrylate copolymers, vinylacetate/vinylpropionate crotonic acid copolymers, vinylpyrrolidone/dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate copolymers and vinylacetate/crotonate copolymers.
