PURPOSE: A method for detecting inferior terminals in a mobile communication system and a system therefor are provided to receive successful call information, and to extract inferior terminal subscribers according to call termination rates of subscriber terminals for each subscriber base station, based on the call information, thereby coping with call quality by classifying the inferior terminal subscribers. CONSTITUTION: A collecting server of a managing system collects call information per subscriber for a month from an MSC(S51). An analyzing server analyzes the call information, and calculates call termination rates of subscriber terminals for each subscriber base station(S52). The managing system decides whether the terminals are inferior according to the call termination rates(S53). If so, the managing system compares the calculated call termination rates with call termination rates of cancelled subscriber terminals, and sets threshold values(S54,S55). The managing system calculates terminal subscribers having call termination rates less than the threshold value as inferior terminal subscribers, and specially manages the subscribers(S56).
