<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and quickly perform stacking of a wide mouth container made of plastic which is manufactured by a biaxially stretching blow-molding method. <P>SOLUTION: For this wide mouth container 1, a cylindrical wall section 9 is formed at the lower end section of an outer peripheral wall section 3 which gradually expands upward. The cylindrical wall section 9 and a bottom wall section 2 are smoothly connected with an arc wall section 8 which protrudes to the outside. Both of the external surface 9a of the cylindrical wall section 9 and the external side surface 8a of the arc wall section 8 are formed into a surface having a larger surface roughness compared with other sections. Even when the inner peripheral surface 3b of the wide mouth container 1 located on the lower side comes into contact with the arc wall section 8A of the wide mouth container 1A on the upper side at the time of stacking, a frictional resistance between them is small, and stacking between the wide mouth containers is hard to occur.
