PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for an ultraviolet-curable powder coating material, providing a coated film having good smoothness and appearance. SOLUTION: The resin composition for an ultraviolet-curable powder coating material, produced by a wet method comprises (a) a (meth)acryloyl group-containing resin and (b) a photoinitiator as raw materials for the resin composition for the ultraviolet-curable powder coating material. The wet method may comprise a step (1) of producing a raw material solution by dissolving the raw materials in an organic solvent, a step (2) of producing a suspension by mixing the raw material solution obtained in the step (1) with an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble polymer at a temperature lower than the clouding point, and a step (3) of obtaining secondary oil drops by heating the suspension obtained in the step (2) to a temperature not lower than the clouding point, and taking out particles by distilling off the organic solvent.
