<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting a rotational angular position of a rotor, having inexpensive constitution without an R/D converter. <P>SOLUTION: An amplitude modulation signal (SIN) and an amplitude modulation signal (COS) of a resolver are introduced, and amplitude modulation signal (SIN)/amplitude modulation signal (COS)=amplitude ratio signal (TAN) and amplitude modulation signal (COS)/amplitude modulation signal (SIN)=amplitude ratio signal (COT) are calculated therefrom. The rotational angle θ of the rotor is detected on the basis of the calculated amplitude ratio signal (TAN) and the amplitude ratio signal (COT). Further, a section division value is outputted by dividing the rotational angle θ of the rotor into the sections per 30 degrees, on the basis of the amplitude ratio signal (TAN) and the amplitude ratio signal (COT). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
