METHOD FOR TREATING FURNACE GAS FLOWING OUT FROM MOLTEN MATERIAL OUTLET OF WASTE MELTING FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce facility cost and running cost necessary for treating furnace gas flowing out from a molten material outlet of a melting furnace.

SOLUTION: The furnace gas flowing out from the molten material outlet of the waste melting furnace 1 is held in a surrounding hood 3 covering the molten material outlet 2 and water-sealed in a lower end part 3a. The held outflow furnace gas is led into a gas burning furnace 6 added to the melting furnace 1, and it is joined with a treating flow of gas exhausted from the melting furnace 1.
