PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize the opportunity of detecting the leakage or misfire of a fuel gas while preventing errors in detection. SOLUTION: During detecting the leakage of the fuel gas, a gas exhaust passage is put in a closed condition and the occurrence or not of the leakage of the fuel gas in the gas exhaust passage is detected from a change in pressure after introducing predetermined negative pressure. An ECU 30 detects the fluctuation of an oil surface in a fuel tank 14 and it establishes the starting conditions of detecting the leakage when the fluctuation of the oil surface is smaller than a preset determination level. The ECU 30 acquires future travel road surface information for a vehicle from a navigation device 40 and changes the starting conditions of detecting the leakage depending on the acquired travel road surface information.
