PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a slope face retaining member to a reinforcing grid with a simple structure and at a low cost, relating to a reinforced soil structure where the slope face retaining member is positioned along a vertical wall surface or a face of steep slope, with the grid embedded in banking. SOLUTION: A rod-shaped steel member 41a is projected approximately horizontally from the slope face retaining member 4 into the banking and bent to form a projecting part 41b. A connecting member 3 elongated in a direction approximately parallel to a face of slope is positioned on the slope side of the projecting part. The connecting member is formed with projecting parts arranged in predetermined spaced relation, with each projecting part being driven in between the main members 21 of the reinforcing grid 2 and locked. A tensile force between the grid and the slope face retaining member is transmitted from the reinforcing grid to the connecting member and also to the slope face retaining member by locking the connecting member to the projecting parts.
