<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a case incapable of reheating water due to insufficient heat capacity in an electric water heater reheating by circulating hot water in a bathtub to a heat exchanger provided in a tank of the electric water heater. <P>SOLUTION: This electric water heater is provided with a boiling heater 2 in the upper part of the tank 1 and a reheat exchanger 3 in its upper part, and when boiling the hot water in the tank 1, actuates a boiling circulation pump 7 to boil the hot water from the top of the tank in a layered state. Therefore, even if this electric water heater has the insufficient hot water in the tank 1 when reheating a bath by the reheat heat exchanger 3, it can quickly boil necessary high-temperature hot water and secure the arbitrary amount of the water so as to eliminate cases incapable of reheating due to the insufficient heat capacity and unnecessarily using an expensive daytime electric power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
