PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device having a constitution of installing a hoist in an elevator shaft and arranging a side surface of a drive rope wheel opposing to an elevator shaft wall surface and capable of easily obtaining a vibration control function. SOLUTION: The hoist 10 is arranged between the elevator shaft 1 wall surface and a car in a horizontal projection plane and the drive rope wheel 11 is arranged to oppose to the elevator shaft 1 wall surface. Vibration control bodies 13 are provided between an attachment body 8 fixed on a stationary body 6 of the elevator shaft 1 and the hoist body 10 at an upper part and a lower part of an opposing surface to support the hoist 10 on the attachment body 8. A desired vibration control function of the hoist 10 is easily provided thereby. Also, a torque applied on the hoist 10 is supported by rigidity in horizontal direction of the vibration control bodies 13, and thereby, the hoist 10 can be mounted on the attachment body 8 without troubles. Noise and vibration in the building provided with the elevator shaft 1 during elevator operation are reduced to quieten an environment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
