PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel capable of performing a high-definition image display in high brightness without causing discharge interference among pixels. SOLUTION: For the plasma display panel, a plurality of barrier ribs 11 partitioning discharge spaces 13, and a plurality of auxiliary barrier ribs 15 formed between the barrier ribs 11, are formed on a base board 8, and the corner F at the upper surface 15a of the auxiliary barrier ribs 15 is formed into rounded shape. With this structure, a height of the auxiliary barrier rib contracting in solidification by baking can surely be made smaller than that of the barrier rib, so that a high-definition image display is realized in high brightness without causing discharge interference among pixels.
