PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method using a finite element method for obtaining an accurate analysis result in a short calculation time. SOLUTION: This analysis method includes a mesh formation step S11, an analytical calculation step S12, a differential computing step S13, mesh regeneration area specifying steps S14-S17, and a mesh regeneration step S18. In the differential computing step S13, the differential of analysis results in adjacent two nodes on the basis of the analysis calculation results of the nodes. In the mesh regeneration area specifying steps S14-S17, the differential is compared with a tolerance of the physical quantity, a combination of two nodes giving the differential larger than a physical quantity tolerance value is extracted, and a small area including the two nodes is specified as an area requiring mesh regeneration. In the mesh regeneration step S18, automatic division into finer finite elements is carried out in a specified small area, and a mesh with a smaller size is regenerated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
