<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque transmission device provided with two-parted flywheels that are relatively rotatably coupled with each other by a rolling bearing at their center part, and a transmission mechanism and a viscous damping mechanism provided between the two flywheels to be capable of maintaining its performance for long period by preventing the leak of viscous fluid for the viscous damping mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: Between the first flywheel 1 and an inner ring 3 of the rolling bearing 3, air vent passages 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d, and 31e are formed to communicate an oil chamber 10 with the external. Pressure rise in the oil chamber 10 is thus prevented to prevent plastic deformation of a seal 35 on the roller bearing 3. Using move of viscous fluid in the oil chamber 10 toward the outer circumferential side by centrifugal force, the air vent passages are formed on the rotation center side, thereby preventing the leak of viscous fluid through the air vent passages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
