<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a user with only a front barrel as a consumable article by making the ink-filled front barrel detachably coupled to a rear barrel in which a pressure mechanism is arranged. <P>SOLUTION: In a pressure type ballpoint pen, a tip is provided with a ballpoint pen tip; a rear ink storage part is filled with ink and a follower which follows the ink at the rear end of the ink; and the pumping type pressure mechanism is provided in the rear of the ink storage part. The pressure type ballpoint pen is composed of the front barrel which is constituted by providing a joint in the rear of the ink storage part filled with the ink and the follower at the rear end of the ink, and the rear barrel whose rear end is provided with a knock rod and which is constituted by providing a joint ahead of a tubular part in which the pressure mechanism is arranged so as to feed in compressed air by pumping.
