PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information of a self car such as a position of the self car on a simplified figure by acquiring circumferential information during stopping. SOLUTION: The receiving system for information for the simplified figure of road traffic has a means 19 for decrypting the simple figure. The decrypting means 19 has a means 21 for collecting the self car information of differential data between a present position and a next time position, and a velocity information having a travelling direction calculated from the differential data, a means 23 for reading out a coordinate having a road segment and its normal line and linking with the self car and forming an image showing a result plotted with the self car information of the positional coordinate, and a means 27 for forming a simplified figure showing a broad traffic condition wherein the road is deformed as it has a width. Moreover, the receiving system for simplified figure is equipped with a means 27 providing the simplified figure on a coordinate screen together with the self car information, and a display means 37 displaying the coordinate screen.
