PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a rice during rice polishing to the unpulverized state even if a polishing degree sensor is damaged. SOLUTION: In the rice polishing mill provided with a polishing degree sensor 22 for detecting the polishing degree of the rice during rice polishing; and an operation control means 23 for controlling the polishing mill based on an output of the polishing degree sensor, a timer means T in which a rice polishing reference time is set is provided and is connected to the operation control means 23.
