The rack (8) is supported against a vehicle structure (12) by feet (6) which each include an actuator (2) for clamping the foot against the rack and vehicle structure. The actuator is pivotally connected to a lever (1) with a first arm (11) for engaging with the vehicle structure and a second arm (13) for fixing the rack into position when the actuator is activated. The lever is pivoted when the actuator is pivoted, the pivot motion being translated into an expansion force at right angles to the rack length direction at the end (14) of the second arm, causing the rack to become fixed into place against the support foot. |
