PURPOSE: A field emission display device is provided to simplify the structure of a panel and reduce manufacturing procedures, while achieving improved conductance and lengthening the useful life of the display. CONSTITUTION: A field emission display device comprises a field emitter(25) for emitting electrons; a cathode plate(24) on which the field emitter is mounted; an anode plate(21) spaced apart from the cathode plate, and which has a surface on which a phosphor screen(31) is formed; a support portion(21a) for permitting the anode plate to be spaced apart from the cathode plate; a plane electrode(29) spaced apart from the surface on which the phosphor screen is formed, and which has a plurality of electron beam passing holes; an electrode support(22) for supporting the plane electrode; and a connection portion(23) for attaching the electrode support to the support portion in such a manner that the plane electrode is mounted on the anode plate.
