PURPOSE: A construction method for a water barrier having self-restoring force and heavy metal adsorption capacity is provided to have high adsorptive capacity for heavy metals and to heighten the economical efficiency and the effect on environmental protection. CONSTITUTION: The construction method for a water barrier having self-restoring force and heavy metal adsorption capacity comprises the steps of: preparing ground soil in the optimum damping condition, leveling up and crushing; carrying reactive water stopping materials PA and water stopping materials PB, then placing on the ground soil and stirring; forming a water stopping layer to a thickness of 20¯30 centimeters, a water stopping layer to a thickness of 15¯25 centimeters, and a water stopping layer to a thickness of 15¯25 centimeters in order, then tamping and pressurizing; and curing and surfacing.
