<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil based ink composition for inkjet printers, which has a uniformly dispersed pigment in the form of fine particles, excels in the dispersion stability of the pigment dispersion, and has high discharge stability without causing clogging at a nozzle part, and further to form images by using the oil based ink composition for inkjet printers, which excels in drying characteristics on a recording paper sheet, and the water resistance and light resistance of recorded images, and has high resistance to fretting. <P>SOLUTION: In the oil based ink composition for inkjet printers comprising at least the coloring agent and a binder resin in a nonaqueous dispersion medium, the binder resin comprises at least one monomer constituting a principal chain part soluble in the nonaqueous dispersion medium and a graft copolymer comprising at least one macromonomer constituting a graft part (a side chain part) insoluble in the nonaqueous dispersion medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
