PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer for distributing digital contents or a computer for receiving distributed digital contents for detecting the distribution of the digital contents from the outside of a server which is permitted to distribute the digital contents in order to prevent any illegal distribution of the digital contents. SOLUTION: The address of a server which is permitted to distribute digital contents is embedded in digital contents, and the coincidence of a server address extracted from the digital contents with the server address from which the digital contents are distributed is detected so that any illegal secondary distribution can be detected.
