摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantialize a structure with the length of a driving device shortened in the axial direction without increasing the length in the radial direction. <P>SOLUTION: A starting device 16 is formed from a ring with the axis of a crank shaft 7 of an engine as the center and has a starting clutch 23 and a damper device 26 which are positioned separated from each other in the axial direction with a predetermined interval. The starting clutch 23 is positioned so that at least one part overlaps a motor/generator 2 in the axial direction and is positioned more on the inner diameter side than the damper device 26. This structure makes the driving device 1 for a hybrid vehicle a shorter length in the axial direction without increasing the length in the radial direction compared to the conventional devices, even though the engine 3 and the motor 2 are joined as a power source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
