PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a spinning reel the weight of which is reduced and the strength of which is kept high. SOLUTION: The rotor of the spinning reel is a rotor rotatably mounted on a reel main body 2 for guiding a line to a spool comprises a circular cylinder member 30, a first and a second rotor arms 32 and a bail arm44. The circular cylinder member 30 is rotatably mounted on the reel main body 2. The first and the second rotor arms 32 are respectively provided with a first and a second joints disposed oppositely on a rear outer circumference of the circular cylinder member 30 and a first and a second arms 32b curved protrusively outward from the first and the second joints 32a and tapered to reduce width in rotation direction along with frontward extension.
