<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and economically add a function outputting a signal to the outside to a signal indicating lamp mounted on a device such as automatic machine for emitting light according to a signal from the device. <P>SOLUTION: In this signal indicating lamp 1, a main unit 54 is composed of: one or more indication units 11 each having a light source 42; and a base unit 13 having a circuit board 21 for generating light from each light source 42. By interlaying an external output unit 12 between the indication unit(s) 11 and the base unit 13, both the units 11 and 13 are mechanically and electrically connected to the output unit 12 to selectively employ the function for outputting the signal to the outside. Both the units 11 and 13 can be directly connected to form the signal indicating lamp 59 by the main unit 54 by omitting the external output function. The output unit 12 can simply be attached afterward as required. The cost of the indicating lamp 1 can be reduced by the unitization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
