PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly perform recording and reproducing of data, even if a transfer speed of a magnetic card 1 changes to some extent, without causing complications or size increase of a system. SOLUTION: In a magnetic data recording method, which records magnetic recording data on a magnetic stripe 2 of magnetic card 1 by a frequency modulation recording system, one bit of magnetic recording data comprises two or more contiguous magnetism signals of a specified length L.
